Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Director of Facilities Services, the Facilities Operations and Administrative Coordinator partners with the Director, Associate Directors (Buildings & Utilities, Grounds & Events), and many other members of the facilities team to achieve the Facilities Services department’s customer service and efficiency goals and to ensure that the department serves the needs of its staff.
The Coordinator is most focused on the operations of the department, including answering the phone, greeting and badging vendors, and serving as the first line of communication for campus facilities needs. In addition, the coordinator supports the department’s financial activities, ensuring invoices are properly directed for payment, and supports the department in meeting human resources and project-related goals.
The individual in this position must work collaboratively and have a customer service orientation, as well as be comfortable working with a diverse and dynamic group of students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective, accurate, and clear communication with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
