Whether on the page or the stage, poetry at Milton is thriving—empowering students to find meaning in every word. In honor of National Poetry Month, Milton is spotlighting its vibrant poetry scene—students are not only writing and workshopping original pieces but also performing poetry with passion. Some students are even earning national recognition for their efforts. Lyla Tanzi ’26 and EmmaRose Zilla ’26 have earned regional recognition for their poetry, and Hugh Kramer ’27 was a semifinalist in the Poetry Out Loud competition. Read more.
