Diversity Equity and Inclusion Intern

Milton Academy is an independent college preparatory K–12 school, boarding and day in grades 9–12, located one mile south of Boston.

Summary of Position: 

A summer intern position for members of the classes of 2016-2021 who work with the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Team (DEIJ) to create systems and structures for Milton Academy students, including developing structures for a student DEIJ team, developing summer outreach for incoming students, developing opening of school program and developing ways for Milton Academy to connect current students to recent graduates.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Design the structure for a student DEIJ team
2. Develop summer outreach for incoming students
3. Design multimedia glossary/resource pages
4. Design a year-long mini-curriculum to follow opening of school programming
5. Develop a program to connect current students to recent grads
